Cheap Lead Sinker Molds'

I could not help but buy the "U.S. Marines WWII" 1 / 72 Revell of (used in the Pacific). They are very nicely sculpted and dynamic poses rather unusual. They seemed just perfect for Team to build a "standard" for MDE-WWII.
Here are the photos of the various stages of painting:
Here is my team leader Sergeant just out of the box and temporary basing to start painting.
Matt Black Hand, diluted with water (50%) not to hide the details of the thumbnail.

GREEN, but only on the uniform and reveal traces of irregular black at "critical". Seams, pleats, shaded areas, etc..
I left the base on the rest of the Black soldier.

Kakha Light for helmet, some accessories attached to the belt, boots and brown wood (not shown here) for the handle of the blade and parts of rifles

fleshy face and hands, without exaggeration, so that shimmering details of the face.

GREEN cleared with 50% White, passed to "dry brush" on the uniform green

olive drab helmet, then "aged" with the same color and slightly lightened used to "dry brush".

Forgive basing the "white". It will be replaced as soon as possible.
usually do not go well with the color. This type of technique, in addition to ensuring a short time, the figure gives a sense of "shabby " typical of the soldier on the battlefield and the soldiers seem to avoid the "statues " shining.
the way, I pass the transparent matte, but I am afraid to make the thumbnail too glossy. Any suggestions would be valuable.

I greet you and advance in the coming days " come out" even the Germans .....
